CONFLICTING EyeWitness TEstimonies

Eyewitness testimonies conflict with one another. There are multiple contradictions in timelines from both detectives and witnesses. In all testimonies - Omar is described in variations of a fleece/hoodie/jacket.

Jaron Hill: 19-year-old cousin of Thomas Green, the victim. First not willing to provide any information, eventually began to cooperate with detectives but gave two conflicting accounts. In one version, the witness was sitting in the victim’s car when he heard gunshots and saw another witness running away. In another account, the same witness claimed to see Omar pull out the gun after coming back from the store. The witness told detectives, he watched as Omar had an interaction with someone else, but was across the street in a car when he heard shots.

Achmed Abdullah: This witness claimed to see Omar with a gun and became one of the incriminating witnesses. Later he recanted his statement, explaining that he felt pressured by his family. One of the primary witnesses recanting a statement is yet another testament to the fragile narrative created by the prosecution which put Omar behind bars.
